The Municipality of Cair signed a contract for the realization of the showcases repair project at the Old Bazaar of Skopje, worth 11.330.000.00 denars

Today, in the premises of the Ministry of Economy, the Mayor of Cair, Mr.Ganiu together with the Minister of Economy, Mr.Kreshnik Bekteshi, signed a contract for the realization of the showcases repair project and repair of shop windows of business objects in the Old Bazaar of Skopje, worth of 11.330.000.00 denars.

The subject of this contract is: the subdivision of subsidies for the repair of showcases in the Old Bazaar of Skopje, in accordance with the Tourism Development Program for 2018 (“Official Newspaper of the Republic of Macedonia” No.170/18), item 10, respectively regulation of the showcases in the Old Bazaar of Skopje, in accordance with the technical documentation for the conservation, repair and adaptation of showcases and the inscriptions of business objects in the Old Bazaar of Skopje in order to revitalize it. The deadline for the implementation of this project is one year.

This joint project aims at preserving the Old Bazaar’s infrastructure authenticity that should always reflect the antique of cultural values. Our care for this cultural center, which is also proven in the strategies of action of the past years in the field of culture, provide clear evidence for preserving the elements of our cultural identity.
